e3 2011

,
The history of the E3 began with its creation in 1995 and has continued through the latest expo in 2010. The conference was known as the Electronic Entertainment Expo from 1995 to 2006. In 2007 and 2008, the conference was known as the E3 Media and Business Summit. The 2009 event's name was reverted back to the Electronic Entertainment Expo.

The show will return in 2011, after a high attendance figure in 2010.[16] One of this year's highlights will be the demonstration of Nintendo's next home game console, which is expected to be released in 2012.[17] Nintendo will also announce details for the newest Super Mario game for Nintendo 3DS. There are also rumours that Microsoft will be showing its successor to the Xbox 360. [18] The convention's location will be at the Los Angeles Convention Center.[19] Microsoft's Press Conference will take place on June 6th, once again at the Galen Center.

Wii

,
Wii is Nintendo's fifth video game console which is the successor to the Nintendo GameCube. Its main innovation is the controller (joystick) that responds to its location in three-dimensional physical space that lies in front of the television. In the early stages of development, this console named Revolution.
This console was introduced in the Tokyo Game Show 2005 on September 16, 2005. The console was released in November 2006 in the U.S. and December in Japan and some other areas, and compete with the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Unlike the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, Wii is more focused on fun play compared to high-resolution graphic display like those of the second console. Wiimote is a unique new controller (which features a Nunchuk as an additional controller for some types of games), its small, and low price are the things that become second advantage of this console compared to rival consoles.
Wii is a new generation of gaming consoles with the release of the cheapest prices compared to its competitors. In Japan, the Wii was launched with a price of JP ¥ 25,000 while in the United States for $ 249.99. Except in Japan, the Wii sold one package with Wii Sports, a sports games (tennis, baseball, bowling, golf, boxing), which aimed to introduce the Wii users to a new playing style.
Wii has a long compatibility (backward compatibility) with some of the old Nintendo and Sega consoles, including NES, TurboGarfx-16, SNES, Genesis, Nintendo 64 and GameCube. Compatibility with GameCube achieved by the holding slots for CD measuring 8 cm as used GameCube, while for the other consoles it is obtained through the virtual console service (Virtual Console), which is one of the features of the Wii. Through the Virtual Console, Wii users can buy and download old games and played directly on the Wii through the Wii Shop channel.

Games for Windows

,
Games for Windows is a brand owned by Microsoft and introduced in 2006 to coincide with the release of Windows Vista. The brand represents a standardized technical certification program and online service for Windows games, bringing a measure of regulation to the PC game market in much the same way that console manufacturers regulate their platforms. The branding program is open to both first-party and third-party publishers.

Games for Windows was promoted through convention kiosks and through other forums as early as 2005. The promotional push culminated in a deal with Ziff Davis Media to rename the Computer Gaming World magazine to Games for Windows: The Official Magazine. The first GFW issue was published for November 2006, and the magazine was defunct as of 2008

Packaging for games that have been certified by Microsoft feature a prominent "Games for Windows" logo stripe across the upper front. Microsoft claimed they had increased their sales of Games for Windows-branded games in stores that had been giving the games greater focus, and said they planned on increased marketing efforts of the brand

The term “blame game” is often used to describe a phenomenon which happens in groups of people when something goes wrong. Essentially, all members of the group attempt to pass the blame on, absolving themselves of responsibility for the issue. The blame game can get quite complex and convoluted, and people who are not good at playing along may find themselves bearing the brunt of ill-will as a result of whatever went wrong.
In addition to being frustrating and a waste of time, the blame game can also be very counterproductive. By shifting the focus to who made the mistake which led to the problem, the blame game distracts people from why the problem occurred in the first place. As a result, the members of the group may miss out on a valuable learning experience which would have allowed them to prevent such errors in the future.
In order for the game blame to be effective, a mid-sized to large group is needed, and a hierarchy is ideal. For example, the owner of a business may identify a problem and discuss it with a manager, who points the finger at another manager or staffer. When confronted, the fingered person will pass the blame on to someone of lower rank, or another coworker, and so forth, until everyone in the business claims to know nothing about the problem and its cause.
The motivations behind the blame game are natural. Many people want to be liked and accepted, and they fear that taking responsibility for an issue will make them disliked, and this could potentially lead to being fired or otherwise penalized. Most people also want to look good in the eyes of their coworkers, so they do not want to bear the shame of being responsible for a problem. As a result, people will pass the blame on rather than dealing with it, which can be especially frustrating for people who are genuinel

A zombie apocalypse is a particular hypothetical scenario of apocalyptic literature that customarily has a science fiction/horror rationale. In a zombie apocalypse, a widespread rise of zombies hostile to human life engages in a general assault on civilization.
In some stories, victims of zombies may become zombies themselves if they are bitten by zombies or the virus travels by air; in others, everyone who dies, whatever the cause, becomes one of the undead. In the latter scenario zombies also prey on the living and their bite causes an infection that kills. In either scenario, this causes the outbreak to become an exponentially growing crisis: the spreading “zombie plague” swamps normal military and law enforcement organizations, leading to the panicked collapse of civilian society until only isolated pockets of survivors remain, scavenging for food and supplies in a world reduced to a pre-industrial hostile wilderness.
The founding work of the genre was Richard Matheson‘s novel I Am Legend (1954), which featured a lone survivor named Robert Neville waging a war against a human population transformed into vampires. The novel was later adapted into a screenplay, The Omega Man (1971), starring Charlton Heston. George A. Romero borrowed the idea for his apocalyptic feature Night of the Living Dead (1968) but substituted vampires with shuffling zombieS.
